Martin is a visionary CEO and business leadership expert, with over 30 years’ leadership experience, gained mainly in complex manufacturing and engineering environments. Martin is part-time managing director of an electrical and software engineering company and combines this with advising manufacturing SMEs, as well as devising and delivering leadership programmes. His work includes voluntary activities, including his role as vice chair of the Derby Manufacturing Network as well as other work with the East Midlands Chamber.
Martin has a balanced career record; half working internationally for 2 global corporations and half in SMEs. His strengths are in design for manufacture, strategic planning and team development to achieve high levels of organisational performance. With a focus on people and results, Martin has a passion for business systems, and is known for his vision, creativity and drive. More latterly, Martin has become an angel investor, supporting early-stage founders and teams to scale up their businesses.
